GWF AG took on the task of planning and implementing a gas pressure regulation station in collaboration with the customer. This station plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient distribution of natural gas within the supply network and replaced an existing facility that needed to be relocated due to changing local conditions.

From the outset, compliance with all relevant safety standards and legal requirements was a key prerequisite. Equally important was the implementation of modern technology to optimize pressure regulation and minimize energy losses. The timely completion of the facility by August 2024 was another critical element of the project.

A detailed plan for the gas pressure regulation station was developed, taking into account all technical requirements and safety standards. In close cooperation with a specialized partner for gas and energy distribution systems from Ettlingen, expertise was brought in and best practices were integrated into the planning. The selection of appropriate materials and technologies ensured that the station would be both efficient and durable. Modern control and regulation systems were integrated to enable precise pressure regulation. Additionally, technical drawings and specifications were created, along with calculations for pressure regulation and safety. All these measures ensured the technical feasibility and efficiency of the planned solutions.

The project management team had comprehensive responsibility for the planning, execution, and completion of the project. The project manager coordinated all activities, ensured the achievement of project goals, and served as the central point of contact for all stakeholders. The success of the project depended on close collaboration in the areas of project management, consulting, engineering, support, and product delivery. By combining these elements, GWF AG ensured that the gas pressure regulation station not only meets current requirements but is also future-proof and a reliable part of the energy supply.

The facility will be commissioned jointly by the customer and GWF AG after the gas filling in the third quarter. This ensures that the station can reliably and safely perform its function in the energy supply.
