Representing employee interests

The employee representative body offers our employees a platform to exchange views or discuss problems within the company, either personally or anonymously.

As part of «GWF Dialogue», the management team meets employees over luncheon several times a year to listen and respond to any issues and concerns aired by those present and that affect the workforce. Having an open discussion with employees is as much a part of the GWF corporate culture as the “open door policy”, i.e. simply entering an office with the door open and discussing your concerns.

Exceptional performance honoured

At the end of each year, the GWF Award honours the above-average and innovative achievements of individual teams. The award ceremony is always organised as part of the company’s Christmas celebrations and is hosted by the management team. Attractive prizes are up for grabs, which the winners can then use for team-building events.

GWF is also happy to be involved in sponsoring and embraces requests from employees who dedicate their free time and energy to a local club that provides value and importance to the local community. This relates to sport, culture or other sectors.

A wonderful example of this is the level of commitment shown to the Seewen rifle club, whose members can now achieve the best results in brand new shirts.

We were also able to equip the team “GWF Super Talents” with a complete team sports dress. For the time being, the team participated in the football Grümpelturnier in Ägeri on 06.07.2019. Further tournament participations will surely follow.

The well-known annual Lucerne city run also brought GWF employees together in their free time to run a course together. For this purpose we are happy to provide shirts and other accessories. Good sprint!
